Who is Cornerstone VR?
Cornerstone VR is an award-winning virtual reality (VR) learning and intervention tool used by professionals working with vulnerable children, young people, and their families. Through immersive 360° films viewed in VR headsets, users can walk in the shoes of young people facing difficult real-world situations, bringing the impact of trauma, neglect, and societal pressures to life.
Our education programmes are designed for teachers, designated safeguarding leads, pastoral teams, and behaviour staff, helping them strengthen trauma-informed practice while delivering key safeguarding messages to pupils. When experiencing situations from the learner’s perspective, staff build deeper empathy, confidence, and practical strategies that can be applied immediately in education settings.
For pupils in Years 10 and 11, pupils aged 14+, programmes can be delivered 1:1 or in small groups, creating safe opportunities to reflect on wellbeing, vulnerability, choices, and support. These guided sessions encourage open conversations, increase awareness of risks, and support early intervention.
