Tier 2

Assessment and Reintegration Provision 

Tier 2 provides short-term, intensive support for pupils requiring a deeper understanding of underlying needs. 

Key features include:

• Comprehensive multi-agency assessment and holistic review of each child or young person.
• A structured placement model enabling pupils to continue academic learning alongside targeted interventions.
• Collaborative planning with mainstream schools to support successful reintegration.
• Access to specialist services including SEND, Specialist Teaching Teams, Speech and Language Therapy, Therapeutic Services, Youth Offending Team, Police, Early Help, and Local Authority teams.
• Detailed recommendations, strategies, and next-step planning provided to schools following intervention.
• The provision offers valuable time and space for professionals and schools to work together to identify needs, coordinate support, and implement sustainable solutions before difficulties become entrenched.
