As CEO, I champion inclusive, trauma-informed practice, building high-performing teams and creating environments where young people and staff can thrive through strong values and compassionate leadership.

My philosophy is simple: every young person deserves an adult who refuses to give up on them. I believe relationships come first, high aspirations and compassion must coexist, and opportunities can be created where others see barriers. Momentum brings together people who share that commitment to making a difference.

Millie Diamond, Momentum Lead

Millie has 12 years’ experience across primary and middle schools as a teacher and leader. A qualified SENDCo with an MA in Special and Inclusive Education, she recently worked as a primary SEMH outreach teacher in London. Millie is also a trustee and governor, championing inclusive practice and positive outcomes.

Karla Cessford-Row, Momentum Lead  

Karla is an experienced education professional with over 20 years’ experience in schools across Milton Keynes. With a strong background in pastoral leadership, she is passionate about inclusion and supporting young people to achieve their potential. Karla believes the Momentum Project can help improve outcomes, redirect pathways, and create lasting positive change.
