Understanding Behaviour Training Offer
Bridge Academy is offering the Inclusion Partnership schools training to cover the causes of behaviour. The training is split into two parts, both between 60 and 90 minutes. Part 1 is intended to cover causes of behaviour and briefly cover supporting behaviour, whilst Part 2 will cover more in-depth profiling and intervention.
Part 1 of this training is targeted at large audiences and is appropriate for whole staff teams, if this is in the interest of the receiving school, it can equally be delivered in smaller groups. Training will cover the following:
· Neurological development - Newborn to Adolescence
· Adverse Childhood Experiences and their impact on health and wellbeing
· Neuroscience of 'Flipping our lids'
· Recovery cycles
· Trauma Informed Approach
Part 2 of this training is targeted at a smaller group of staff, probably pastoral staff who support students exhibiting challenging behaviours. Part 2 will cover:
· ACEs tracking
· Intervention assessment
· Intervention
If you are interested in running both elements of this training, then two dates will be required. Part 1 is required before Part 2; therefore Part 1 is the only element that can be delivered in isolation
